Green capability doesn't come from software — it comes from people. GROW Academy delivers a series of hands-on courses designed specifically for Vietnamese SMEs.
Summary
GROW Academy runs three training programs: (1) a 6-week ESG Officer Certificate, (2) a 3-month Executive Program for leaders, and (3) monthly short-form thematic workshops. As of 2025, more than 600 learners have earned certificates, 48 businesses have joined the Executive Program, and workshops have drawn 2,400 attendances.
ESG Officer Certificate — the foundational course
A 6-week course for staff assigned to lead ESG within an SME. The program comprises 8 modules: the global ESG framework, GHG inventory, GRI/SASB reporting, sustainable governance, supply chains, green credit, sustainability communications, and a capstone project applied directly within the business.
The faculty includes experts from PwC, EY, Deloitte, IFC, and SME founders who have implemented ESG successfully. Tuition is VND 18 million, with 30–50% support available for GROW members.
Executive Program — 3 months for leaders
A program for business owners and chief executives. It combines ESG knowledge, green finance, and competitive strategy. It includes a 5-day study tour to Singapore or Japan to visit the region's leading sustainable factories.
Thematic workshops & 1:1 mentoring
Monthly 4-hour workshops on specific themes: CBAM & EU exports, green credit for SMEs, the circular economy in textiles, and more. The 1:1 mentoring runs for 6 months, pairing experts with businesses by industry and specific needs.

Who should take the ESG Officer Certificate?
Anyone assigned to lead ESG/sustainability within a business — typically a deputy director, HR manager, operations manager, or a dedicated specialist.
Is the certificate internationally recognized?
The certificate is designed around the GRI framework and developed in partnership with international organizations. Many learners use it in their credentials when working with EU and Japanese clients.
Can I study online?
Yes. A hybrid format: 60% online, 40% in person in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. Businesses outside these two cities can opt for 100% online.
